February is Teen Dating Violence Prevention and Awareness Month

Did you know that Dating violence is more common than many people think?
According to the organization Love is Respect, one in three teens in the U.S. will experience physical, sexual or emotional abuse by someone they are in a relationship with before they become adults.

If you are a parent of a teen experiencing dating violence, please call us here at CIT at 972-271-4300 and ask about our Family Tree Program which provides 6 free sessions for students 17 and under and their parent(s).
